A Letter from Melissa Sadoski, Designated Broker of Sol Valley Realty & Property Management:

When I began working in property management in 2019, I had no idea the world would soon be turned upside down. Starting just before the pandemic gave me a truly unique perspective on what it means to manage properties — and to serve people — during uncertain times. I had the responsibility and privilege of guiding both clients and residents through some of the toughest circumstances: negotiating lease terms, navigating eviction moratoriums, working with rental assistance programs, and doing everything in my power to ensure no one felt abandoned in a time of crisis.

That experience shaped me — not just as a professional, but as a person.

Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience with everything from single-family homes to multifamily and small commercial properties. I’ve worked alongside investment firms, independent landlords, and individuals just beginning to build their portfolios. I’ve been on-site with general contractors, helping rehab properties ranging from Class C to Class A — always balancing budget, quality, and the client’s vision.

I’ve also had extensive involvement with college leasing and turnover, which brings its own unique rhythm and challenges. I’ve worked closely with Section 8 and housing assistance programs, and I’m a firm believer in advocating for residents in need when it’s appropriate and possible. One of the most meaningful aspects of my work has been helping those without homes find a place to belong — through partnerships, programs, and persistence.

I founded Sol Valley Realty & Property Management because I saw a gap in this industry — not just in service quality, but in ethics, compassion, and connection. Real estate is so often approached as just a numbers game, but behind every property is a person — and I believe they deserve to be treated with dignity, professionalism, and heart.

I’m proud of the company we’re building. One that values transparency, tailors services to each client’s needs, and doesn’t cut corners. One that respects both owners and residents, and strives to be a force for good in our community.

My goal isn’t just to be successful — it’s to be impactful.

This industry is missing heart and soul, and I’m here to bring it back.

With gratitude,
